EXHIBITOR RULES (BARN RULES APPLY, SEE YOUTH SECTION)
1. All exhibitors are required to read and abide by the Rules on
pages 6-11.
 2.
IMPORTANT
-All exhibitors (including independent exhibitors)
must turn in a poultry cage count by
June 23
. The form can be
found on page 15.
Members of 4-HClubs and FFAChapters
must turncagecounts in through their leaders,
independent
exhibitors to the Fair Office.
 3. Exhibitors are responsible for feeding and watering their poultry
exhibits. All times are posted in the barn and will be enforced.
4. Waterers and feeders must be furnished by the exhibitor
andwiredor fastened to the cage.All feedandwater dishes
must be pre-approved by superintendent.
 5. Cages must be cleaned twice during the week, or as often as
necessary, before 9:00 am or after 10:00 pm.
 6. Birds will not be judged unless the exhibitor or a designated
handler is present to remove the bird from the cage.
 7. Any Poultry entered in this Department can not be entered in
Youth Class.
 8. ALL POULTRY, PIGEONS AND WATERFOWL MAY ENTER
ONE ENTRY PER CLASS AND FOUR ENTRIES PER
SECTION
for a total of 10 pens (entries).
 9. Proper attire is required of all exhibitors (see General Rules).
No sandals, flip-flops, crocs, etc. will be allowed in the show
ring or the sale ring.
10. All Showmanship Classes must be pre-entered.
11. No birds allowed on the grounds except exhibits entered for
premiums. Exhibitors not complying with this rule will be asked
to leave and forfeit any and all premiums.
12. All Poultry exhibited must originate from a certified pullorum free
flock or be tested pullorum free. (Pigeons & waterfowl exempt.)
Proof must be presented at check in.
13. No changes in Department and/or Sections. No entry adjustments
will be accepted after check-in closes on Saturday at 6:00 pm.
14. If there is no competition between exhibitors, only one
premium will be awarded in any one class, which may be a
placing other than 1st place.
NOTE: Any class in this department with an * in front of it requires
a class fee of $1.00. Please enclose this total with your entry form.
