Stop by the Fair Office to enter and
pick up your bowling pins: 989-743-3611
This contest has been a huge success; we hope that you'll join in the fun.
Get creative! Decorate a bowling pin and help promote the Shiawassee
County Fair. Prizes will be based on the number of entries, so get together
with your friends, neighbors, 4-H Club members or your family and create
the best bowling pins in the county!
Age groups:
a)
8-11
b)
12-15
c)
16 & over
d)
Club or family entry
1)
Pins may not be professionally
created and must be the work of
the person or club entering it.
2)
Bowling pins may be decorated
in any way that you choose, but
they must be free standing.
3)
Completed pins may have no
mechanical or electrical parts.
4)
NEW
: Pins will be available at
the Fair Office for a $5 entry fee.
Entries may be used by the Fair
for promotional purposes in
various businesses throughout
the county, but will be returned
and displayed in the Exhibit
Building Fair week. Participants
may have their pins returned to
them after the fair.
5)
Entries
are due in the Fair Office
on or before Friday, June 29 @ 5pm.
Judging
will take place on
Monday, July 9 @ 10 am.
6)
Judging will be based on creativity,
neatness and materials used.
Prizes
for winners in each age
group will be composed of Fair tickets,
merchandise and fair food - to be
determined at the time the prizes are
awarded, available the first day of the
Fair, for the approximate amounts of:
1st - $20.00

2nd - $15.00
(value of approx.)
3rd - $10.00
(value of approx.)
