Judging will be on Saturday.
Judges will meet with exhibitors
as projects are checked in.
Exhibitors must be present.
The
interview will be taken into account in judging; age and years
in project will also be considered.
1. All articles exhibited in this department must have been finished
during the past year and be the work of the exhibitor.
2. All articles exhibited in this department must be an original
design or have been creatively enhanced by the exhibitor - no
kits completed exactly as purchased will be accepted.
3. Needlecraft which is to be hung, must be mounted or framed
and ready to hang with hanger attached.
4. Only one entry in any one class will be
accepted.
5. All exhibits must have label with age of
exhibitor and number of years in project.
6. Due to space limitations, size limitations apply in many classes.
7. "Any Other" classes are only for those projects not previously
listed.

Objective: To gain skills in manipulating materials and develop an
appreciation for artistic expression through the conceptualization
and completion of a craft.

YOUTH EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS
SECTION 80 — GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL EXHIBITS
Objective: To achieve an appreciation and awareness of the articles
through compiling and organizing for display
Age: See page 6 for Educational Project age.
1. All Exhibits must have been finished during the past year and
be the work of the exhibitor.
2. Entries must include a notebook and article(s) pertaining to the
subject.
3. Entries in a Group Education exhibit should be made in the
leaders name.
4. All Education Exhibits are limited to posters, reports, notebooks
or displays of information. Not to exceed 14" x 22" ( Except
entomology).
5. All exhibitsmust be labeled with age and number of years in project.
6. Only 1 entry in any one class will be accepted.
PREMIUMS for classes 105 - 145: A - $3.00; B - $2.50; C - $2.00;
105. Computer
115. Safety (First aid, Home, Farm, Gun, Health, Child, Fire,
(Individual) Standard size poster board only.
125. Rock Collection (notebook required, not to exceed 10 pcs)
135. Leaf Collection of at least 35 specimens in a note book,
leaves to be identified.
145. Any Other (this class must follow guidelines above) Not to
exceed 2' x 4' except Entomology. No more than 10 items.
PREMIUMS for classes 155 - 215: A - $7.00; B - $6.00; C - $5.00;
Entomology does not have a size limit and does not need a
notebook attached.
