Exhibit Regulations
1. All Prints must have been taken by the exhibitor within the last year.
2. Prints must be 5x7 or 8x10 (except in classes 105, 115, 125,
which should be 4x6). Prints may be black and white, or color.
3. All Prints must be mounted. Appropriate size matte board
required. DO NOT USE FRAMES. DO NOT ATTACH
HANGERS OF ANY KIND. NO EXCEPTIONS! Example:
5x7 print on 8x10 matte board; 8x10 print on 11x14 matte
board. No corner mounts.
4. Exhibitors must be present for judging.
5. Exhibitor may enter up to four (4) classes, only one (1) in any
one class.
6. Digital cameras may be used, but the photos may not be altered
or enhanced.
SECTION 10 — PHOTOGRAPHY
PREMIUMS for classes 105 - 225: A - $2.75; B - $2.25; C - $1.75;
105. First year exhibitors only: 5 (4x6) pictures mounted on a 16x20
poster board. One picture of each subject: Animal, Nature,
Architectural,Human Interest, Pictorial. Picturesizeof regular
prints with category name under each picture.
115. Second year exhibitors only: 6 (4x6) pictures mounted on a
16 X 20 poster board. One picture of each subject: Animal,
Nature, Flash,Architectural, Human Interest, Pictorial. Picture
size of regular prints with category name under each picture.
125. Third year exhibitors only: 7 (4x6) pictures mounted on 16x20
poster board. One picture EACH showing: “S” Curve, Diagonal
lines, Geometric shape, Rule of thirds, one with a high horizon,
flash, low horizon. Picture size of regular prints with category
name under each picture.
The Following Classes must be either a 5x7 or an 8x10
135. Animals or Birds (Household pets, farm animals, birds, etc.).
145. Architectural and Industrial (Man made structures or industrial
sites, buildings, bridges, machinery, etc. Old or new items)
155. Fireworks (Any display of fireworks)
165. Nature (Anything found in nature, rocks, trees, flowers, etc.)
175. Close-ups (Anything photographed close-up)
185. Human interest (Person or Persons involved in activities)
195. Pictorial (Landscapes, seascapes, snowscapes, cityscapes,
etc.)
205. Night Photography (Any scene or building photographed at
night)
215. Sports (Any sporting event)
225. Motion (Any subject showing motion such as a car, person,
animal and/or a controlled motion picture)

1. Exhibitors entering corn or beans (peck) may exhibit previous
year’s crop.
2. Youthexhibitorswishing toenter crops in theOpenClassMUST
submit separate entries for the Open competition.
3.
All stalks of corn are to be cut off at ground
level. NO SOIL!
4. Full pecks are required for grains and beans.
5. Only 1 entry in any one class.
6. List variety on entry tag.
7. Must keep claim tickets for all corn stalks to receive ribbon on
Sunday!
8. The judge will disqualify any exhibit that they feel is not of
current crop (with the exception as stated in rule #1).
