Junior Handlers are age 14 and under, as of Jan. 1 of the current year
Senior Handlers are age 15 and over, as Jan. 1 of the current year
  345. Novice class - For handlers who are in their first and second years
of experience, but who do not qualify for champion class #365.
355. Open class - For handlers who are beginning their third
or more year of experience, but who do not qualify for the
champion class #365.
365. Champion Class - For handlers who have placed 1st, 2nd, or
3rd in a dog showmanship class three times. (See Rule 24)

19. The dogs cannot be professionally trained or premiums and
awards will be forfeited.
20. A handler or dog showing in Agility for the first year (including
Cloverbuds) must have 6 documented practice sessions on the
agility equipment. Attendance will be taken at county practices;
any sessions outside of the county must be documented and
records provided. Thesepracticesmust takeplace fromMay 1st
on. Current members must attend no less than 3 documented
agility workouts on the equipment in order to show in agility.
21. The Judge’s decision is FINAL.
22. The minimum age of any dog attending shall be 4 months of
age; the minimum age for any dog to compete in agility shall
be one (1) year of age.
23. Class #365 - Champion showmanship classes are formembers
that have met the requirements of the showmanship patch
earned at the state level.
24. Class #341 - a class of two dogs of similar size and height
trained by the same member.
25. Unaltered dogs may show in any class with the exception of
a female dog in heat. A female dog in heat will not be allowed
on the grounds at any time.
26. Agility dogs may show in a harness with a statement of need
from a veterinarian.
27. Timed events will have a maximum allowed course time.
Teams exceeding the time limit will be excused from the course.
28. Proper attire is required of all exhibitors (see General Rules pg.8).
No sandals, flip-flops, crocs, boots, etc. will be allowed in the
show ring.

DRESS CODE
The following GENERAL DRESS CODE will be in effect for all
exhibitors in the Dog Department during fair week - when in
the barn or in any way associated with the Dog Department.
Members may wear shorts of fingertip (mid-thigh) length and
topswith straps no less than "two fingerswide". Undergarments
must be covered at all times; shirts or tops must be long enough
to completely cover themidriff (bodymust not be visible between
the shirt and the waist of the pants.)

If at any time the judge feels that attire is not
appropriate, it may be reflected in the exhibitor's placing.
A selected panel of leaders/adults will be in place to make
a decision regarding questionable attire.
**THE FOLLOWING ARTICLES OF CLOTHING WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED IN THE SHOWRING:
a) clothing that draws undue
attention to one's self, or that may distract other handlers,
spectators, or the judge, b) halter tops, low-cut blouses or
sweaters, hats, mini-skirts, c) denim of any type or color,
d) clothing with a logo, pictures, personal identification, or
writing of any kind (including a club name or logo).]
Dress code for the Showmanship ring:
Girls - Skirts, culottes, dresses or jumperswithappropriate tops,
no shorter than knee length. The length of the skirt/dress must
be long enough to cover the body when the exhibitor bends
over, or is in a squat position. Dress slacks are acceptable,
but not recommended. Long hair should be tied back. Jewelry
that makes noise or interfereswith handling should be avoided.
Flat soled shoes (such as a tennis shoe) are recommended.
Boys -Dressslacks, shirt, and tieare recommended.Turtlenecks
are acceptable. Jackets or suits are optional.
Dress code for Obedience ring:
Dress slacks and collared shirts are acceptable for boys and
girls. The dress code for showmanship is appropriate for the
obedience ring, but not required.
Dress code for Team, Agility, and Rally O competition:
Shorts of fingertip (mid-thigh) length are acceptable for boys
and girls. T-shirts (without writing) may be worn; tennis shoes
are recommended. Skirts, dresses and low necklines are not
recommended, as bending over for obstacles is required - if
worn, be sure body is covered. Handlers may be disqualified
for Dress Code violations.
30. Each exhibitor must complete a Dog Registration Form,
page 15, to aid Superintendents in bookkeeping, and
return it with your entry form.
